Overnight street parking is permitted from December 1 to March 31, unless prohibited by parking signs or when a snow removal alert is in effect. In this case, parking on the streets between midnight and 5:30 a.m. is prohibited throughout the entire municipality, without exception.
You can be informed directly by signing up for snow alerts, which are sent to you by SMS, e-mail or mobile notification. These alerts tell you, among other things, when a parking ban has been issued and when it will end.
ATTENTION: As of fall 2025, the Citizen Space will replace the alerts system currently in use. If you were already subscribed to these alerts and wish to continue receiving them, you must re-register on the new Citizen Space portal before December 1, 2025. No files will be transferred.
Registering is easy. First, you need to have an account on the Citizen Space. To open one, click on the “Register” button in the top right-hand corner. Registration is free of charge. For help, you can consult the “Help and frequently asked questions“ page.
Then follow the steps below:

WARNING: Due to the various systems, interruptions and potential slowdowns of private telecommunication service providers, the Ville de Saint-Lambert cannot guarantee receipt of e-mail or SMS alerts. Consequently, the most reliable methods of checking whether an alert has been issued remain the Citizen Space portal, the website, the Facebook page or the dedicated telephone line.
