Always vigilant about its residents’ safety and security, the Ville de Saint-Lambert has put in place several measures to inform you in case of an emergency.
One of these is the automated message system available in the Citizen Space. When the situation calls for it, you can quickly and massively transmit a personalized message by telephone or text message. These messages will tell you the nature of the incident and the instructions to follow to ensure your health or safety.
The system will only be used in exceptional situations, such as boil water advisories, lockdowns or evacuations. In the event of a localized incident, it will be used to reach only those citizens directly concerned.
ATTENTION: By the end of 2025, the Citizen Space will replace the alerts system currently in use. No files will be transferred, and registration for the new system is not automatic. To continue receiving these alerts, you must re-register for the new portal before December 31, 2025. After this date, the old system will be deactivated.
Registering is easy. First, you need to have an account on the Citizen Space. To open one, click on the “Register” button in the top right-hand corner. Registration is free of charge. For help, please consult the “Help and frequently asked questions” page.
Then follow the steps below:
Once you've registered, it's your responsibility to manage your file and ensure that your contact information is always up to date. You can do this by following the steps below:
If you're having trouble signing up for emergency alerts, you can come to the recreation centre or library for help from our library clerk. You can also call us at 450-672-4444.
