How does the municipal notice platform work?

The municipal notice platform is a web platform for sending alerts by text (SMS), phone call and email.

Citizens sign up to receive notifications from:

  • emergencies;
  • collection reminders;
  • notice of work and obstruction to traffic;
  • notice for snow removal operations;
  • information on activities and leisure;
  • or even opinions concerning by-laws and municipal news.

How many alerts will I receive?

It is difficult to accurately predict the number of alerts that will be issued.

Be assured, however, that we understand your desire not to be inundated with messages from us.

You will only receive alerts to which you have subscribed. You can change your subscription preferences at any time (except for emergency notifications).

And we promise not to use the notification platform for promotional or solicitation purposes.

Will I receive advertising?

No.

We undertake not to use the notice platform for promotional purposes or time solicitation.

You will only receive alerts to which you have subscribed (except for emergency notices, for which you are automatically registered, given their priority level).. You may change your subscription preferences at any time.

Will this now be the only way to be informed?

No.

The notice platform is in addition to the other means of communication deployed by the City to inform you. This is a complementary tool, it is not the only one!
